Description

On offer here is a rare very early press of The Dark Side Of The Moon.  Released in 1973 on the Harvest label (SHVL 804) the vinyl is quite simply in stunning condition.
The matrix numbers are A3/B3 and stampers 2 RHH // 1 TPP    Imprinted on the label is "The Gramophone Company Limited" denoting an early press.  Under a bright light the vinyl looks in superb condition.  There are no scratches, just a small number of extremely faint hairlines from when the record has been removed from the sleeve.  In fabulous condition, I think it would be nigh on impossible to find a better one.
The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover is also in great condition for 40 years old with the front cover edge still sealed as it should be.  There is slight fading to a couple of areas on the front cover and slight creasing to the bottom of the spine but the colours still shine brilliantly and it still retains a strong thick spine.  It remains a great copy for its age and again you won't find many better.
Both posters and stickers are included and are in excellent condition - no marks or pin pricks.
Overall a wonderful copy of this ground breaking LP - it would be difficult to find a better one.

The vinyl I would grade as Near Mint-
The gatefold cover is Ex++
The posters (slight spotting on reverse) and stickers are Near Mint-
The labels are Near Mint-
