Description
• Disc condition: NM - The disc is flat to the deck, no dishing or warping. Crisp textured labels, with hardly any spindle marks. The disc is really bright glossy and superb! Vey minimal (usual) crackle on intro but otherwise looks and sounds superb.
• Sleeve condition: NM - Garrod & Loftouse UK printed matt varnish coated gatefold sleeve with sealed left hand panel. Cardboard used is dark grey indicating it is printed before 1975. Colours are all bright on this copy, hardly any shelf wear at all, EX+ perhaps.
• Matrix/stampers: (etched) Z SHVL-804-A-7 HTM Z SHVL-804-B-6
• This is a rare UK export contract pressing - at least in our opinion. You won't find it listed anywhere as such, but we do know for mid 1970's export and colured vinyl issues, EMI sent the metalworks to the UK Orlake plant, and as with similar Beatles export albums from a similar time, this pressing indicates as such. Cut by Harry T Moss (HTM), the disc is hand etched unlike most of the 1970's DSOTM UK pressings, additionally with "Z" at the beginning of the matrix unlike all the standard EMI UK pressings. This superb example, regarded as the 6th pressing, comes complete with both stickers intact and two posters. Keeping the original pressing vibe, we are storing the disc in a black polylined paper inner to keep the record free from the original polylined inner that may be compromised with dust particles. A real nice copy! Don't miss it!
