Description
For sale are probably Pink Floyds two most iconic albums. Dark side of the moon from 1973, Wish you were here from 1975.
Both albums are very early presses and in lovely condition. "Dark side" has its 2 posters and 2 stickers. "Wish" has the serrated edged postcard. All vinyl is sent out in a new anti-static inner sleeve and a new heavy duty polythene outer cover, all in the price.
Vinyls have been visually graded only, but are totally free of marks.
DARK SIDE OF THE MOON:-
UK early pressing. A5 / B5. Vinyl gleams as new. Very little, if any, signs of play. Visually graded excellent. Inner sleeve is lightly discoloured but fully intact. Grades excellent. Cover is great condition. Some light shelf-wear only. Grades excellent. Both stickers are almost as new. Grade excellent. Band poster is great with some light creasing and some light age discolouration to the rear. Grades very good plus. Pyramid poster has at some stage been blue-tacked to a wall, so there are some waxy residue spots to the rear. More pronounced creasing damage, but still an acceptable example. Grades good plus.
WISH YOU WERE HERE:-
UK early pressing A5 / B13. Vinyl gleams like new. Very little, if any, signs of play. Visually grades as excellent. The lyric inner sleeve is lovely and undamaged. Grades as excellent. The cover is early issue with pinched spine. Fully readable. Nice clean creamy example with a small ding to top left corner. Grades as excellent. Original "diving man" postcard is great. Grades as excellent.
Also included in the sale is a 26 page booklet. Divided into 2 halves, each half detailing the making of each of the albums. Full of information and photos. A great book in super condition and compliments the two albums well.
I post worldwide with the exception of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Postage cost within the UK is priced at £5 for 1st class signed for delivery. This is less than what it actually costs me. Overseas postage will obviously vary on destination. I have put down a blanket price to cover all. This will be amended once I know where the winner lives.
