Rarely seen Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" 1973 UK 2nd A3/B3 Matrix with 4th *No rim text* labels.
Description:
This is a rare pressing indeed, commonly known as a 4th press with no rim text on the label outer edge. The matrix is actually an A3/B3 the same used for the 2nd & 3rd press and as such offers a fantastic listening experience and alternative to the - usually very expensive - 1st press. This also stands as a fine collectors piece including all of the original components and rare opportunity to own a very limited run 1973 early example of Pink Floyd's iconic sonic experience to be enjoyed in all its original glory. Included in this auction are both posters, 1st version Fasprint Crackback postcard sticker, original inner sleeve and iconic stickered cover.

- In good natural light the record exhibits a superb deep glossy playing surface with no marks, scratches, scuffs or blemishes. Under direct halogen spotlight there are no marks or hairlines visible. Stunning! The disc sits completely flat on the turntable with no warping or dishing. The labels are clean, unworn and without spindle markings. A superb visual example of a difficult record to find in such fine condition.
Audio Grade: NEAR MINT!
The record plays through without issue. A superb listening experience from a tough record to find in top condition. This copy is not blighted by incessant background crackle even during the many long quiet sections and between tracks. A marvel to listen - including the long heartbeat' intro to 'Breath' - and a fantastic alternative to the first - and often very expensive - pressing. You will not be disappointed.
Sleeve Grade: NEAR MINT!
Only light signs of handling and storage, sharp unworn spine. Clean on the inside gatefold. Fantastic!
Inner: NEAR MINT! Original white paper inner sleeve has no splits, rips or stains.
Posters: NEAR MINT! Both posters are unused with have no rips, stains, pen, or pin marks.
Postcard Stickers: NEAR MINT! Both 1st press 'Permanent' stickers are unused and clean.
