PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (Ultra rare 1973 UK first pressing 10-track LP with SOLID BLUE PRISM Harvest labels with silver lettering, Gramophone Co. perimeter text and has A2/B2 matrices, classic prism gatefold picture sleeve with, which differs from later issues in that it has a single right-side pocket opening only. Complete with a black poly-lined inner, both of the large fold-out posters and two unused stickers SHVL 804).

General:                                Originally issued on March 24 1973, here we have the record that has become the icon of the seventies. This is a superb copy of the first issue 'solid  blue triangle' label of Pink Floyd's masterwork complete with all its original inserts.

                                             This copy is a 100% genuine original complete with the original posters printed on matt paper (later ones are on semi-gloss paper) and the original Fasprint
 Crackback stickers. The glue used on all the early stickers was permanent and this is clearly printed on the back of each sticker. The glue was later changed to  removable after complaints from the education sector who presumably got fed up finding the stickers permanently attached to every available surface.

It goes without saying that the labels have of course got the 'Gramophone Co' rim text, 'World Copyrights' text, and 'Made in Gt Britain' text round the bottom edge.

A very rare copy of this epic record and in amazing condition.

Grading (vinyl):                        EX+ (Under angled light some tiny paper removal marks, plays as quiet as you will ever get on this LP, amazing loud crystal clear undistorted clarity)

Grading (labels):                      Mint- (one or two very light spindle marks)

Grading (outer sleeve):            EX (a couple of extremely light corner bumps, very slight scratch to back cover. Some general storage wear mostly on the edges and corners but

                                              has no rips or splits.)

Grading (inner sleeve):           EX+ (a few light marks, nothing major, very light small ring rub on rear)

Grading (inserts):                      Mint- (both posters and stickers are as new but the posters have extremely light age discoloration as all these matte posters do)
