Description
I have for sale a true First pressing of Pink Floyd's iconic album Dark Side Of The Moon.
The album is complete with the poster, stickers and black inner. It has the A2 / B2 matrixes.
The Bad points...
The needle sticks towards the end of Brain Damage on side Two. It happens just after the oral laughter at the very end. There's also some crackling on this track too.
I have looked at the area under a bright light and an eye glass and can only detect the slightest of marks where it occurs. There's no evidence of deep scratches or misaligned grooves. Perhaps the cocktail stick method could rectify it.
Good points.....
The rest of the tracks on the record play really well, the audio is clear and crisp. There's the odd faint sign of crackling in the run-in groove but no skips or heavy crackling since.
The vinyl has been recently cleaned.
There's very little evidence of spindle marks.
The inners are original, the sleeve and the postcards and posters are true and clean.
In conclusion, apart from the aforementioned faults the vinyl is in very good overall condition and could be excellent if anyone could sort out the issues with the Brain Damage track.
