On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Dark Side Of The Moon" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1973 UK EARLIEST 'Standard' 1st Pressing - and is one of the EARLIEST copies EVER made!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (LIKE THIS!)!!!!  HOWEVER THIS LP IS MADE REALLY SPECIAL INDEED AS IT IS THE RAREST POSSIBLE VERSION OF THIS LP EVER MADE - AND WAS ONLY PRESSED LIKE THIS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME ONLY!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY THIS LP IS SO MASSIVELY RARE!!!!

THIS LP WAS RELEASED IN 1973 - JUST BEFORE THE HARVEST LABEL CHANGE - FROM THE 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, TO THE 'EMI RECORDS' EDGE TEXT.  IN FACT THIS LP IS ONE OF THE LAST LPS EVER TO BE RELEASED WITH THE 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT ON THE HARVEST LABEL!!!!  AND, AS MANY PEOPLE WILL ALREADY KNOW - THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAD A 'SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE' - AND THIS WAS CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE (TO MATCH THE COVER!).  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT WAS CHANGED AT ALMOST THE SAME TIME - AND DROPPED IN FAVOUR OF 'EMI RECORDS' TEXT THAT FOLLOWED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  HOWEVER - JUST BEFORE 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT CHANGED AND JUST AFTER THE 'SOLID BLUE TRIANGLES' ENDED, ONLY A TINY HANDFUL WERE PRESSED WITH A TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE AND 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT!!!!  AND THIS MAKES THIS LP VERY VERY RARE INDEED!!!!  ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS - AND IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST POSSIBLE VARIATION OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!! 

BUT THERE IS ALSO 1 MASSIVE 'ADDED BONUS' TO THIS LP (WHICH MAKES IT THE 'EARLIEST' STANDARD 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - AS THIS LP HAS 1 MORE AMAZING RARITY THAT ALL LATER ONES NEVER HAD!!!!  WHEN THE LABELS WERE FIRST CHANGED FROM THE 'SOLID BLUE' TRIANGLE TO THE 'TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE' - THE COLOUR WAS INCORRECT ON THE 'EARLIEST' TRANSPARENT TRIANGLES ONLY!!!!  THEY INCORRECTLY USED EXACTLY THE SAME COLOUR AS THE MIDDLE OF THE 'SOLID BLUE' TRIANGLE ON THE 'TRANSPARENT' LABELS - WHICH WAS FAR TOO LIGHT, AND STILL HID SOME OF THE TEXT!!!!  THIS WAS CORRECTED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CHANGE - AND IF YOU COMPARE THIS 'EARLIEST' TRANSPARENT PRESSING - WITH ANY LATER PRESSING, YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT IT IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT & WRONG COLOUR (LATER ONES ARE TURQUOISE - ON THIS LABEL THE TRIANGLE IS SIMPLY VERY LIGHT BLUE!) AND ALSO MUCH THICKER AND FAR MORE SOLID LOOKING!!!!  ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' TRANSPARENT LABELS (WITH 'GRAMOPHONE' TEXT!) WERE EVER MADE LIKE THIS - AND MAKES THIS THE ALL TIME RAREST VERSION OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!

No is SHVL 804 on the ORIGINAL Harvest label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound in places (though mostly NONE!)!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent++++ if not MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Silver Text' Black 'poly-lined' Inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 2 'MATT' POSTERS (& 2 STICKERS!) ARE ALL IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HAVENT EVER LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold 'Blue Coloured' Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only very VERY slight rubbing to the cover front (absolutely MILES better than most!), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL to the cover back, NO sticker marks, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO sticker tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the EXTREME corner tips, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover MUST grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY IN THIS FANTASTIC CONDITION!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
