Description
PINK FLOYD Dark Side Of The Moon LP, Harvest SHVL 804, UK 1973 2nd STEREO issue with a crossover A3, B2 matrix, a very dark blue cover, a blue outline prism on the label, and The Gramophone Co., Ltd. text on the label. Comes complete with the black UK poly-inner, two posters, and 2 MINT 'permanent' stickers.
A note on grading: I use the RC standard grading policy with the addition of a + or – to denote a slight increase or decrease in grade. The record has been played once for aural grading a on a Rega RP6 with a Rega Exact cart and inspected under 100W bulb for visual grade.
VINYL is MINT minus, barely played. The sound is that of a new LP. Spectacular!
Only one side opening gatefold sleeve is EXCELLENT plus, a few light creases only.
Black inner is EXCELLENT plus, no splits.
POSTERS and STICKERS are MINT minus.
This version immediately followed the original pressings with the solid blue triangle on the labels and A2, B2 matrix and was issued in April 1973, just one month after the original release date (24th March, 1973).
It had a very limited run until Autumn 1973 when the label rim text was changed from The Gramophone Co to the very common EMI Records and A3, B3 matrix. Indeed, most Gramophone Co pressings with the outline prism labels also have the A3, B3 matrix.
All items dispatched within 24 hours of payment, same working day for payments received by 3pm.
Money back guarantee if not delighted! Check my comments and place our bids without any worries.
PACKING: All vinyl is shipped with record outside the cover to avoid seam splits in transit. Extra stiffeners, foam wrap and high quality mailers ensures your record is dispatched to arrive in top condition. I'm very proud of the fact that I cannot remember the last time I had damage in transit.
