PINK FLOYD - 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' LP UK 1970s Harvest SHVL 804
1970s UK pressing in gatefold sleeve with no barcode.
A-9 & B-8 matrix numbers.
“File under POPULAR : Pop Groups” and “Also available on cassette and cartridge” text inside the gatefold
With the 2 posters. NO stickers.
CONDITION: STRICT U.K. MAGAZINE 'RECORD COLLECTOR' GRADING SYSTEM USED. I aim to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition. It’s in my best interests to do so. I WANT YOU TO COME BACK. All records are checked in good natural light and play tested IN FULL at a high volume on high-end audio equipment. Used records are cleaned using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine prior to play testing, unless condition deems unnecessary.
Playing condition ranges from VG- to EX+, with the vast majority of the album toward the higher grade. Very occasional background surface noise. Lower grade due to occasional audible pops/clicks in places – some consecutive. Overall, NO loud crackle NO distortion/groove-wear NO jumps NO sticking.
Visually, in good daylight, the vinyl looks in EX+ condition, if not a fraction better. Few and very faint surface marks – not immediately noticeable. Vinyl still nice and clean.
Labels in EX+ condition. Several spindle marks. All label text perfectly readable. NO writing NO stickers.
Sleeve is in EX- condition. Patches of edge wear – mostly on bottom edge. Some corner wear – not severe. The odd scuff/score mark. Still nice and neat inside the gatefold (circular cover sticker has been stuck inside the gatefold). NO seam splits NO rips/tears NO writing NO unofficial stickers.
Posters in overall EX/EX- condition. Small light stain spots – almost all on the back. Stress marks to the corners of the Pyramid poster – looks like it may have been hung up at one time. NO rips or tears.
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR TRACKLISTING AS WELL AS A GOOD LOOK AT CONDITION. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL ITEM FOR SALE - NO STOCK PHOTOS USED.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System - VINYL
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface
POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
