Doing a little spring cleaning with all our free time, in anticipation of selling our house, and managing some other financial setbacks. My loss – your gain…. This week’s auctions are for some VERY RARE CD box sets. I have thousands of CD’sand over hundreds of Deluxe/Special editions and box sets that will be listed over the next few weeks. Unless noted, everything here is in near perfect condition. Inmost cases, the discs were only taken out 1-2 times for downloading, then returned to the boxes for careful storage.
I accept Paypal ONLY, and expect payment within 5 days of auction end. I WILL combine shipments WHENEVER POSSIBLE. These are typically large format and heavy, so combining them may not be feasible. I am also working with boxes I have on hand, to keep costs down. I am NOT a professional seller – I am just trying to move a large collection as economically as possible. With that in mind, I have a fairly low starting bid, and a fair Buy It Now price. Shipping is as noted, with some sets going as priority mail, because they fit into USPS boxes, with enough space to allow for safe packing/cushioning. These sets are heavy, so Priority mail costs are high, can't help that, but sorry! All packages are sent insured for full bid amount. International bidders, please expect to pay higher shipping. I will also be listing several thousand CD’s and a lot of other music memorabilia as well as several original movie posters, in the next few months so please keep an eye out.If you have any specific questions, or would like to see me list a specific lot of music by a particular artist, please don’t hesitate to ask.
This auction is for:
DSOTM – Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs pressing, cover in great shape, vinyl look like – like water or something was on it, but if you have acleaner machine, it looks fixable. I bought this at a used record store some time ago, but I personally never listened to it. Cover has no splits or ring wear, and has MFSL inserts.
WYWH – I bought this one new in the early 80’s, from Tower Records in SF. It was mostly for the novelty of the blue shrink wrap and the hype sticker in Japanese. Shrink wrap still on LP, but it has been opened. Two small pieces of tape on bottom to keep wrap from opening. Also has poster, postcard, and insert in Japanese. I do not ever recall listening to this and it looks pretty good tome. No turntable, so I cannot help with that. Sorry.
