Description
VERY RARE - Pink Floyd DARK SID EOF THE MOON
Japanese 1st Press with SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE
Includes additional Japan only booklet and Postcard
The details...
This was originally released in 1973 in many countires. Just the same as the UK 1st press version, the inner viny labels had a solid blue triangle / prism. This was quickly replaced with the clear version as it made reading the label notes difficult (silver writting on light blue)
In Japan, there were 2 main releases. The first on Harvest / Odeon with solid triangle, then later on EMI release which is less collectable.
Vinyl details - Stereo EOP-80778
Pressed in Japan on quality Japanese vinyl.
This one is in near excellent condition, has no obvious visual marks, but under bright light you can see very light surface marks which do not affect playback.
Play tested on LOUD volume and is a bit of pop noise on opening run in. Nothing showing visually so is prob just dust that would clear with a professional clean.
Very light spindle marks on inner label.
Gatefold Cover is very clean. Thick Japanese card, only very very light scuffs to top and bottom, and hairline down spine.
No stickers, no writting, no stains etc...
Inside comes with a Postcard as well as a thick booklet that is exclusive to the Japanese version, contains pictures and writing.
This is an excellent version of a very rare press and will increase in value if well looked after.
Always been kept in and will be supplied in outer clear protective cover.
