After a year of trading under The-Iow-Backtrax-Co as a partnership I have now decided to go back in business on my own and use my original name The--Record--Experience, as I want to go back to my roots and sell some of the best in rare records on E bay. Me and Pete would like to thank all the customers who purchased on the Iow Backtrax in the last year and it was a nice experience. DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
**ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING VERY RARE 1973 STEREO UK HARVEST LP COMPLETE (SHVL 804)**
This is the very 1st UK pressing with solid blue triangle labels and 1st pressing cover that only opens at one end and has a blue tint. Later cover are jet black, only 1st pressing covers have a blue tint when held under light ,when a standard cover is placed next to the 1st issue cover you really can see the difference when under light. The LP comes complete with both posters and stickers with the original dark side of the moon sticker that was on the LP shrink wrapping when new. Also the rare black inner cover is included in superb condition. This is really a top example and is the best I have ever offered for sale. The LP only had one careful owner from new and was barley played ,this is very rare for this LP that normally got played to death finding one in this condition is very hard.
The gatefold cover is in very nice condition as stated has the 1st issue blue tint and only opens at one end. There is a 2" scuff to the back cover (see picture 3 below) that is not over serious with a little rubbing to the bottom and top edges but better than normal. The spine and ends of the spine are superb as is the inside of the gatefold. The rare 1st issue cover is graded as Excellent condition and is a nice example.
The Record
The LP is in superb condition and has been barley played , It has superb full gloss and plays with superb sound, A really great 1st pressing and one to play. I will grade the LP an easy Excellent / Excellent+ you will be lucky to find better ,this is the best example I have ever offered and this is my 7th now!!!! Those who know of me will know my grading is very strict.
Matrix Numbers SHVL 804 A-2 / SHVL 804 B-2 / -2 Are the 1st pressings,there are no -1 for a standard pressing ,The promos are -1.
The Labels
Both labels are superb condition and grade a top Near mint condition ,the spindle areas show the LP has only been played a few times.
The Inner Sleeve
The polylined rare black inner in a superb Excellent+ condition with NO tears or splits and is rare in this condition. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to the original when in the post
The 2 Posters
Both original posters are in unused Near Mint condition. The Stickers
Both original stickers are in unused Near Mint condition. Also shown below is the original dark side sticker that was on the shrink wrap when new ,it still has part of the original shrink wrap on the back of sticker.
We use the UK grading system E.G. /VG / EX / MINT. We also use + and - if there are slight differences between the grades.

**All Records are sent out in plastic covers with the record placed out of the front cover to prevent the cover from getting knifed. All records are sent out in strong mailers with added protection to make sure that they reach you in the condition that they leave here in.**

** Please read this- If you have been buying from some dealers on ebay who continue to sell records that have been altered or have stickers placed over writing or to hide damage or in a much lesser condition than stated. I would rather sell the record in it's original state rather than cut out pieces of paper to hide the truth. I am also against skimming, steaming and other dirty tricks. I will playgrade all records and do all grading under a 100 watt light bulb which shows the truth.
