PINK FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
Issue : UK ORIGINAL PRESS Label : HARVEST Catalogue No : SHVL 804 Matrix : SHVL 804 A-3 / B-3
This is a UK early press of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd. This press is complete with the very early A3/B3 matrix, 2 original 'Fasprint' lined stickers and 2 white border posters. It also comes complete with the rare early blue/black Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a superb gloss, there are no whitening of the grooves, just a couple of very light wispy marks and hairlines on both sides. The triangle label has bold black, vivid blue and only light spindle wear and a few spider marks.
On playing there is just the occasional light background noise, but this does not spoil the enjoyment of the album at any point. The sound is bold, vibrant and clear, with Excellent clarity and separation throughout.
The record is complete with the plain inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The 2 matt stickers have not been peeled and are bright and clean. They have firm edges, bright colours and are very solid.
The posters are clean, the white is bright, the colours are vivid and there is only the slightest discolouration.
The early dark blue matt Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The black is bold and the rainbow colours are vivid. The triangle is sharp and the inside is clean and bright. The front and back of the sleeve have a little light wear and there is a crease on the opening edge. Overall this sleeve is still very solid and the spine is firm.
