This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd. This rare 1st press is complete with the very earliest A2/B2 matrix, 2 original 1st press brown line stickers and the 1st press white border posters. It also comes complete with the earliest blue matt factory sealed edge gatefold sleeve and 1st press polylined black inner sleeve. However it also comes with the original shrinkwrap with the Dark Side Of The Moon sticker! It is a wonderful rare complete original.

The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a stunning high gloss; every track gleams. It has the original jet black finish and both sides of this album have perfect deep unplayed grooves. We have twisted and turned this album in every light and we cannot see any marks at all, not even the slightest paper marks.  It still absolutely sensational. The record does not sit totally flat on the turntable, there is a little wobble, but this has no affect on sound at all. The sound is exceptionally rich, warm and clear in all but the quietest moments, with the most sensational definition. There is a little noise on Breathe, but it is light and there is some static crackle at the start, then it plays through with the most wonderful clarity. There is nothing that significantly interferes with the enjoyment of this record at any point.

The solid triangle has a wonderful vivid blue. It has the slightest marks on side 2 and a couple of the faintest spider marks, other wise the black is bold and the silver text is immaculate. There is NO spindle wear. 'The Gramophone Company' text can be clearly seen around the rim. The record is complete with the polylined black inner sleeve in Excellent condition. The plastic lining is still completely sealed, there is no corner wear, just tiny wear to the opening edge. It still feels exceptionally solid.

The 1st press matt stickers have not been peeled and are in perfect condition. The posters are the earliest 1st press, slightly off white, border posters. They have a few little age spots but they are solid and the edges are firm.

The 1st press lighter blue/black matt, sealed edge Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the white is wonderfully bright. There is a light small mark on the bottom and just a little corner and opening edge wear. The essential factory sealed edge is still completely intact and firm. The inside is like new, perfect with sharp blue text and crisp sharp lyrics. The spine is still very firm and the whole cover is exceptionally solid.

The original shrinkwrap is sealed at two edges and has the original Dark Side Of The Moon sticker in the corner.

This is a rare complete example of this earliest A2/B2 solid triangle, blue sleeve 1st press with the earliest postcards, earliest posters, the original black polylined inner sleeve and the original shrinkwrap and it sounds sensational.
