For sale here is a super 30th anniversary copy of Pink Floyds iconic                                                                          "Dark side of the moon"
The 30th anniversary edition of this album has achieved industry wide acclaim for its sound quality. Pressed on 180 gram heavyweight virgin vinyl, this has gone back to an analogue recording, as opposed to the over clinical digital recording process. The result being the warmth and ambience we vinyl people know and love so well.

This is a quite lovely example of this iconic and highly collectable album. The vinyl has A2 and B3 etched in the dead-wax. This edition was actually pressed in Europe (Germany I believe). All component parts and a full detailed play-grading is laid out below.

The cover:                  Original and genuine black cover, correct for the album pressing, with the barcode ending 987613, which is correct to this edition. The cover is made from very thick card and has NO shelf-wear to any edges or spine. Near perfect. I grade this cover as a strong excellent plus (Ex+).
Inner sleeve:                     Made from a heavy black paper and poly-lined. A pretty much perfect example with no marks or slits etc. Has a couple of minor wrinkles. I grade the inner sleeve as strong excellent plus (Ex+).
Posters:             All 3 original posters are present. All are in fantastic undamaged condition. No pin holes. No blue tack. No splits, rips, tears or issues. Printed on a very heavy gloss paper. These are quite beautiful. I grade both posters as excellent plus (Ex+).
Stickers:          Both stickers are present and in fantastic undamaged condition. No creases, marks or wear. Just a really nice pair. I grade both stickers as excellent (Ex).
The labels:                  The iconic prism labels are in really good shape. Although this album has been (lightly) played, I can see no spindle trails or proof of play to either label. I grade the labels as excellent plus (Ex+).
The vinyl:                Really the vinyl is visually stunning. It sits completely flat to the platter. Weighs in at 180 grams. In normal natural light and in harsh electric light I can see no marks of any issue that the bidder needs to be made aware of. This is a very clean vinyl. Shows a deep black lustre and high sheen. As a visual appraisal,  I grade as a very solid excellent (Ex).
PLAY-GRADING:                  The audio on this copy is fantastic. It is extremely close to being without fault. I made the following comments in my play-grade notebook:- The notoriously difficult heartbeat intro and phasing into track two comes across clear but with a few (hard to describe accurately) light "spitty" crackles which very quickly clear. As I can see no visible cause for this, I hope a decent clean and play might clear this. The rest of the side plays without fault until the very end of the final track, where there is a light click into the run-off. Side two really cannot be faulted nigh on perfection across the entire side. I grade side 1 a strong excellent (Ex) and side 2 a very strong excellent plus (Ex+).
The sound throughout is dynamic and vibrant. Clarity and detail are sensational. This is an incredible sounding album and would grace any collection.
As a complete and original 30th anniversary pressing with the A3 and B2 etched numbers, correct cover plus hype overlay, stickers and posters, I really have to grade overall as at least excellent. Somebody is going to be very happy!!

I will post overseas, although I have had issues in the past from both Russia and Mexico, so will not post to either. I have listed the price for UK postage only. If an overseas ebayer wants this, it will be through the Ebay "Global shipping programme" which may seem expensive (I do not set the prices!) but it takes into account all taxes and duties plus insurance. I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway. If the postage cost is less than my quoted figures, I will refund the excess as soon as I have the exact price. I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
If you have any questions, require extra photos, please just ask. Album will be posted same day the payment is made if early enough, or at worst the next day.
