For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "Dark side of the moon" album. This is the highly regarded and sought after 30th anniversary edition. This is a back to analogue recording, as it was originally. No digital interference here. By most industry experts, this is second in sound quality only to the first pressings, A2/B2 and A3/B2. Every component is in the most outstanding condition. The audio quality is sublime.
I have included a few extras to make this a more than desirable collection, as if the album did not have enough extras with it already!
Included as standard with this special 180 gram edition are 3 posters, 2 postcard stickers, and the square card depicting the special edition information.
To these I have added the following:- A sealed DVD "The dark side interviews". Information can be read in the photos. This is brand new and factory sealed. A coaster depicting the iconic prism from the album cover. Brand new and sealed. A brand new and sealed gel pen depicting the prism and heartbeat logos.
The cover is in great shape with just the tiniest hint of storage wear. It is a really superb example and made from very heavy gauge card. Grades as Ex+.
The inner sleeve is generic anti static type, in perfect condition. The posters are all absolutely in stunning condition. No damage of any kind. The stickers are also superb. Just a little wrinkle on one corner of the yellow one which is shown in detail in the photos. The 25cm x 25cm insert is in perfect shape too.
Now, the vinyl. Simply beautiful. Not a blemish worth mentioning. Visually, this is about perfect. The labels are very clean. On one side the label has split, presumably from the glue drying out too quickly. Obviously this is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the sound quality in any way. I have fully play-graded the album. Both sides. Side 1 plays incredibly well. Great detail and crystal clear. The heartbeat opening is just about silent. My only comment to side 1 is a "dust pop" in the segue between tracks 3 and 4. I am sure this will either play out or clean out. It is so trivial. Side 2 has a hint of light surface noise for the first 4 seconds, then perfection for the rest of the side.
I do not grade any album that is not factory sealed as near mint or mint. In my view this is almost impossible. My highest grade for a used album is Ex+. In truth, my Ex+ is probably most other sellers near mint! Expect something very special with this well looked after classic. This, without question, is well worth my highest grading. No issues.
Suffice to say, this is highly collectable and an appreciating classic. The analogue over digital mastering makes a huge difference, which is why this edition is so highly prized and sought after.

I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway.  I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
