Description
I will be listing quite a large number of rare Pink Floyd albums over the coming days and weeks. Why not add me as a favourite seller and get informed automatically when new items are listed.
For sale here is Pink Floyds most album originally from 1973, "The dark side of the moon". This is a UK (re)pressing with A8 / B8 matrices.
Also included in the auction are both original posters and both original stickers.
The cover is extremely solid and virtually unmarked. There is absolute minimum shelf-wear to any edges, with just a small rub area on the spine. Pretty hard to fault for its age. Grades excellent.
The inner sleeve is white and displays Made in Great Britain text with the patent number also. Just very slightly colour aged with very light creasing, still grades as excellent.
The labels show one spindle trail to side 2, none to side 1. I have not played this for well over 30 years until this week. I think it has been played 3 times at most.
The vinyl visually really is incredibly clean. There are no marks worth noting. This is a gleaming piece of vinyl. Happy to make a visual grading of excellent at least on this one.

Referring to my play-grading notebook, I made the following comments. Super quiet start to that all important "heartbeat" intro. The whole of side one plays absolutely superbly with just 3 ticks in the segue between tracks 3 and 4 my only note. Side two also plays beautifully with the only note being a couple of dust pops and light ticks in track 2. Overall this vinyl easily gets an excellent grading from me.
I am sure the winner will be well pleased with it, but I do offer a full return and refund policy if not delighted. This an absolute corker of a copy, and I find it hard to believe there are many better sounding repress copies still knocking around.
Happy to post overseas, but not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Any bids from those countries will be cancelled. Postage within the UK is free, by Royal Mail 48, so delivered in 2 days. If my quoted price is more than the actual cost once I have that figure, I will refund the difference immediately. I do not and will not profit on postage and packing costs.
I have had to put a cost in for overseas postage, so I have added the price for Euro zone delivery.
