Description
Over the next few weeks and months I will be listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums.
These will all be at least decent playing copies, but mostly will be of excellent quality, some even better than that. They will include some UK 1st pressings, and if not they will be extremely early pressings. All matrix/mother/stamper combinations will be listed (so long as they are readable!) so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on. All gradings are by visual examination and by play-grading, strictly to record collector guidelines.
So here we have some of Floyds most iconic titles. "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON". This particular album has had the iconic solid blue labels stuck to the original labels. The original labels were damaged and this seemed a nice way to re-vamp the appearance. The pressing is actually a 5th UK pressing with A10 B10 matrices. * Please do not bid on this thinking it is a first pressing. IT IS NOT. *
DARK SIDE OF THE MOON:- Matrices are A10 and B10, so a relatively early pressing. The vinyl surfaces really gleam and have a rich black lustre. It plays every bit as good as it looks, with no issues. The cover has very little issues. Almost no shelf-wear. Light colour loss to front face. Rear has a jagged scuff and small area of colour loss near the bottom. Also has light disc impression forming. Inside the gate-fold is near perfect. A really clean and solid example. The inner sleeve is in superb condition. Generic white with "care of your record" text and "Important notice" text at the bottom. No damage at all. Both posters are present and in near perfect condition. The postcard sized stickers (FASPRINT CRACKBACK) have light creasing. The paler one has a crease to one corner, the darker one has creasing along the top edge. I have included a brand new coaster depicting the iconic prism artwork. This coaster is brand new and unused.
* This is an interesting album in lovely condition. Please just do not consider it a first UK pressing. Remember it is A10 & B10, a 5th UK pressing. *
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send 1st class signed for postage with The Royal Mail. I only charge exactly what it costs me, sometimes less!
I accept returns if I am notified as soon as possible after you receive the album. This has to be due to it being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the album, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas, but not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Postage within the EU is around £17. Worldwide postage is around £27. If these prices differ once I have packed and weighed them, I will refund the difference immediately. If it costs any more, I will stand the extra cost myself. Win win!
If you have any questions, or require more photos, just let me know.
Many excellent Floyd titles still to be listed (over 140), so please keep an eye out for my future sales or add me as a favourite seller to get notifications of listing.
Good luck if you decide to bid.
