On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Delicate Sound Of Thunder" and is an ORIGINAL 1988 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press EMI label!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! IT IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (AS A 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING!)!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' IN NOVEMBER 1988 (AND NOT LATER!) - WITH A1/B1/A2/B2 MATRIX ENDINGS (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!! LATER PRESSINGS ARE OF COURSE VERY EASY TO LOCATE (BEWARE OF 'SEALED' ONES - MOST OF THOSE ARE MUCH LATER EXAMPLES!) - BUT FINDING A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING FROM 1988 IS GETTING VERY VERY HARD INDEED NOW!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1988 UK 1ST PRESSING ON 1ST PRESS EMI LABELS, 1ST PRESS 1/1/2/2 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PICTURE' INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VERY HARD TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL EMI UK 1st Pressing from 1988 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EQ 5009 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press EMI label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
The record labels on BOTH records are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl on BOTH records is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, only 2 on 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINE LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the records play almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - though this is lost WAY behind all but the VERY quietest parts of the music ONLY!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The records must visually grade Very Good++++ if not better - with the playing grade only VERY slightly less than this!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Picture' inner sleeves which are in SUPERB condition and completely UNSPLIT!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO sticker tears, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT COVER!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
