Description
Selling my Stereo copy of "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" by PINK FLOYD. It is a 33 rpm 12" vinyl LP, original 1st press release on EMI Columbia label. Cat: SCX 6157. Their first LP and the only one with 4 original members, including Syd Barrett on all these 11 album only tracks. Matrix YAX 3419-1/3420-1 G stamps on inner wax. Rarest, most earliest issue without 'File under Pop' on back Flapback (most rare on Stereo). Laminated front cover, spine only says "The Pink Floyd". Fold over back says "Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London" and lists catalog numbers in the bottom right corner. Has writing on the back of cover in red noting the length of each track and totals of side A and B. The vinyl is shiny, shows a couple of hairlines, no jumps or pops. From my personal collection, purchased in London in August 1967. Fantastic condition considering the age and rarity of this item. Will be packed in cardboard and bubble to protect in transport. I recommend registered mail.
