Over the next few weeks and months I will be listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums.
These will all be at least decent playing copies, but mostly will be of excellent quality, some even better than that. They will include some UK 1st pressings, and if not they will be extremely early pressings. All matrix/mother/stamper combinations will be listed (so long as they are readable!) so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on. All gradings are by visual examination and by play-grading, strictly to record collector guidelines.
So here we have some of Floyds work from the mid 1970's. The live biography Volume 4 "HAVE A CIGAR".
This is a live double album, and has been recorded at a couple of different venues. Released in 1985, this contains work from the "Wish you were here", and "Animals" albums. There are some additional early versions of "Dogs" and "Sheep" that are quite different to the released versions on the album. All of the titles and venues can clearly be seen on the reverse of the cover in the photos I have listed.
This is part of a 6 volume set. This is part 4 of 6. I am also listing part 3 of 6, so check that out too. Very rarely come up for sale, especially in this kind of lovely cared for condition.
The cover grades excellent. Has a light crease to top right corner. The generic inner sleeves are excellent, but the vinyls are now housed in new anti-static inner sleeves to prevent any damage. The vinyl surfaces visually are excellent. No marks of note. The labels show just one or two spider trails, so these have hardly ever been played I feel. The sound quality is excellent. An odd tiny dust pop, but very clear and detailed.
So Pink Floyd at their very best. The mid 70's produced two of their greatest offerings. "Wish you were here" and "Animals". These albums are played almost in their entirety.
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send 1st class signed for postage with The Royal Mail. I only charge exactly what it costs me, sometimes less!
I accept returns if I am notified as soon as possible after you receive the album. This has to be due to it being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the album, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas, but not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Postage within the EU is around £16. Worldwide postage is around £25. If these prices differ once I have packed and weighed them, I will refund the difference immediately.
