Description
This is a first class example of the 1971 FIRST PRESS of the PINK FLOYD album MEDDLE. It comes complete with the original gatefold sleeve textured inside and out, original inner sleeve and disc which is in perfect condition with no visible wear or blemish.

This disc is part of my personal record collection and has been in my possession since purchase in 1971. It has been rarely played as it was my practice to record all new discs to my stereo tape deck , play the recordings on a day to day basis and archive the discs. I apply the Record Collector Magazine grading classification rigorously to all the discs I offer for sale. The ratings are:
Gatefold Sleeve: in EXCELLENT++ condition , with only very slight wear to spine but no marks on or damage to textured sleeve. Original with credit to Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd as printers.
Inner Sleeve: MINT condition
Disc: The appearance of the disc is better than EXCELLENT : no discernible marks, blemishes or scratches. The sound is very clear, deep and satisfying and, for an album which has many quiet moments and is very unforgiving of scratches, clicks and crackles, this is an example which is a joy to hear. Only my reluctance to grade any 40+ year old disc as being in Mint condition causes me to rate the disc as EXCELLENT++ . All in all this is a great example of a much loved and collectible disc by one of the most popular progressive rock bands performing some of their most cherished tracks.
