Description
For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of a 1st UK pressing from 1971 of the 'MEDDLE' album by PINK FLOYD on the HARVEST RECORDS label (SHVL 795). This version has 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd.' on the label rim text, a 'boxed' EMI above the Harvest logo on the labels and matrix numbers A-4 and B-3 in the runout grooves all confirming that this is a first pressing.
The highly textured sleeve is in superb, near-mint condition with just a tiny bit of wear on the spine and corners and a few small bits of discolouration on the inner cover. Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself. The green labels are in great condition with just a few spindle trails and a mark on the side 2 label - again, this can be seen in the photos. The record has a few light surface marks but plays really well overall. Side 1 has some light surface noise ('crackle') but this is mainly noticeable during quiet passages or between tracks. Side 2 is an excellent listen with just occasional light surface noise and a couple of 'pops'. Definitely no deep scratches, sticks or jumps on either side. I honestly think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this superb album.
