I am parting with some of my treasured LPs. Here's a first US pressing of the great Floyd LP, Meddle from 1971. This and Obscured by the Clouds would be there last LPs released prior to their rocket ship launch to stardom with Dark Side of the Moon in 1972. The cover is in great shape with vivid colors, but there's dent to the LP midway that creases the spine as well as the front and back cover. The LP also looks a bit like it was squeezed into a tight collection. The spine is great except for the aforementioned dent. The inside gatefold is in beautiful shape. The labels are in pristine condition, except for side 1 which has residue of what must have been a sticker by the song list. The record still maintains it's original gloss. The LP is absolutely beautiful, and has a hot stamp "mastered by Capitol". Floyd didn't sell well prior to DSOTM, and this LP is approaching 50 years old. I love original pressings because I feel every LP is of it's time and place. The vinyl, and record pressings are all from that moment in time, and no re-pressing or re-mastering will ever make the sound better for me. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LPS FOR SALE NOW ON EBAY.
