Where do I start!! I think you all know how rare this record is!! You are bidding on a MINT VINYL copy of the MEGA RARE 1967 MONO 1st PRESSING Columbia/EMI 'Piper At The Gates Of Dawn' by Pink Floyd. IT IS A LEGENDARY LP THAT TURNS UP VERY RARELY IF EVER, AND NEVER IN THIS AWESOME CONDITION. It is the GENUINE 1967 UK 1ST PRESS with the black/blue Columbia centre label and the 'Sold in UK subject to resale price' and 'The Gramophone Co. LTD.' text in the centre label.  This is a really amazing record in MINT VINYL CONDITION, so due to the demand and price it will probably fetch, I am going to describe it a meticulously as possible so you all know EXACTLY what you are getting for your money! These ORIGINAL MONO copies only turn up VERY RARELY, and to find one in such STUNNING condition as this is almost impossible today!!! The ORIGINAL E.J. DAY FLIPBACK SLEEVE is in STUNNING condition!!! The flipbacks are PERFECT, beautiful and tight with NO unsticking, NO folding back, NO peeling and NO creasing. The famous psychedelic E.J. Day sleeve still has ALL ITS ORIGINAL GLOSSY LAMINATED FEEL with just the most miniscule laminate cracks around the edges.  Most of us have seen pictures and images of this legendary sleeve but I CANNOT STRESS HOW AMAZINGLY COOL LOOKING THIS SLEEVE IS WHEN YOU ACTUALLY GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL, with its box EMI logo in the corner and the wavy yellow on black Pink Floyd across the front IT IS AWESOME!!! The sleeve has NO major creases and lies perfectly FLAT with NO RING WEAR and a good strong spine, with 'The Pink Floyd' (?!?!!) clearly written down the side. It has only the FAINTEST of edge wear and the FAINTEST of corner wear. The worst corner being the bottom right  with has the most tiny beginnings of a seam crack (7mm-like I said, I'm being VERY fussy here), which you have to look very hard to see. The bottom edge also has a tiny 4.5 cm split which I missed altogether on my first two inspections of this record!!! It does not show at all when casually checking the record out and you have to look very hard, holding that edge to your face to actually see it at all. The back side is also in awesome condition, the only slight blemish being a small name printed in red ink in the bottom right corner. It only measures 3x3 cm, and as far as cover scribbles go, is pretty unobtrusive.  The record comes COMPLETE with its ORIGINAL EMI ADS INNER SLEEVE which is also in awesome shape, lying nice and flat with no nasty creases and just a small 8cm seam split along the bottom.

No we get on to the vinyl itself and what can I say! IT IS ABSOLUTELY MINT!  IT DOES NOT HAVE A SINGLE SCRATCH OR LINE ON IT! NOTHING! IT IS PERFECT, IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY AND SHINES AS IF IT WAS MADE YESTERDAY, with NO hissing, NO sticking, NO skipping and NO jumping. It is mint both sides!! The all important blue/black Columbia centre labels are both mint with no marks or scratches or tears etc as are the gramophone rims. There is virtually NO spindle wear, if you look very hard under very strong light you can just notice the faintest marks which is the only indication you would ever have that this record has ever been played at all!!!! Side 2 has a strange condensation mark, not sure what tit is, its like the mark you would get if you lightly pressed your thumb on a vinyl album and then removed it. I'm guessing it occurred when the album was being made, anyway it does not really notice and in NO WAY WHATSOEVER interferes with the playing of this record. Like I said I want to give you EVERY detail of this record, no matter how small.

Not much else to say really except don't miss this one as you will be VERY HARD PUSHED TO FIND ANOTHER COPY OF THIS AWESOME AND VERY RARE LP IN THIS CONDITION AGAIN.
