Description
An original and very rare UK 1971 1st Press variant of Pink Floyd - Meddle.
Released on the Harvest Label SHVL 795, this is an A3-U B-1U matrix variant in a gatefold sleeve with fully textured interior & exterior plus EMI printed inner sleeve ( see photos).
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up sparkling clean with glossy lustre retained. A few faint scuffs and trace lines visible but nothing remotely feelable. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX.
We own a copy of this album already but this version nearly blew the roof off! Majestic, sweeping & swirling sound, incredible depth and power, this is disorientating and mesmerising with huge bass and detail. It plays through beautifully with no issues - some isolated low noise/crackle and the odd pop, but nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this PF masterpiece!
The fully textured gatefold sleeve is clean, solid & crisp with minimal wear & creasing. Very clean interior with just a hint of ringwear. Lovely readable spine ( see photos).
The original EMI Harvest printed inner sleeve is present & in super condition with mild discolouration.
