PINK FLOYD Meddle.
Label: Harvest Records. Catalogue number: SHVL 795 1971 UK.
Black Vinyl, 12" LP 33rpm.
1st press. 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' rim text in upper case.

Condition: Vinyl: G. This disc has only been played a few times, but han't been well looked after. It has light scratches, marks and hairlines which do affect the sound quality. Plays well (both sides play-tested), but there is very noticeable background snap, crackle & pop in the quieter parts and between tracks. If you are looking for audio perfection, this most certainly isn't the disc for you. If you're looking for a historic very first pressing, which sounds just about OK when the 'high filter' is turned on, then read on...
Condition: Sleeve: VG-. There are no stickers, writing, rips or major damage to the Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold which is textured inside and outside. The date-code is 7110 (October 1971). There is considerable edge, spine and corner-wear, minor discolouration and imperfections. The sealed top edges on one side of the gatefold has started to become unglued. Other than that, it's OK. New replacement inner.

Record Grades: Mint (M) The record - should be in new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover - should be in perfect condition along with any extra items. Excellent (Ex) The record - signs of having been played but displays minimal deterioration in sound quality. The Cover - may have slight wear or creasing. Very Good (Vg) The record - played many times. Surface marks and light scratches evident but no major deterioration of sound quality. The Cover - normal wear and tear without major defects. Good (G) The record - noticeable deterioration of sound quality due to playing. Some distortion/scratches. The Cover - suffering from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discolouration. Fair (F) The record - still just playable but with considerable surface noise and occasional jump. The Cover - may be torn, defaced or stained. Poor (P) The record - too scratched to play properly with bad surface noise. The Cover - badly damaged. Bad/Relic The record - unplayable or broken. Useful only as a collectors item. The Cover - disintegrating.
