ORIGINAL UK HARVEST (SHVL 795) FIRST PRESSING (November 1971) OF PINK FLOYD'S BREATHTAKING "Meddle" LP - IN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING CONDITION
PRACTICALLY UNPLAYED AND PRIOR TO MY ONE CAREFUL PLAY-GRADING I WOULD SAY THAT SIDE ONE HADN'T BEEN PLAYED AT ALL AND SIDE TWO ONLY PLAYED ONCE - OBVIOUSLY THE ORIGINAL OWNER WASN'T TOO KEEN ON THE RECORD AND JUST LISTENED TO "ECHOES" BEFORE SETTING IT ASIDE NEVER TO LISTEN TO IT AGAIN
THE SOUND QUALITY THROUGHOUT IS SIMPLY SENSATIONAL - THE CLEANEST, BRIGHTEST AND FRESHEST SOUNDING COPY I HAVE HEARD - AND IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING - VERY, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED INDEED

Side 2: ECHOES
LABELS: Beautiful clean, bright and fresh labels with only one spindle trace on Side Two and none on Side One. In my opinion, "Echoes" has been played once and Side One is unplayed - MINT/MINT-
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original deep, like-new, glossy sheen and are unmarked save for one small mark parallel to the grooves on "Echoes" which sounds once as it is passed over (see detailed audio assessment below) otherwise - MINT-
VINYL Audio: Stunning audio throughout with a strong, deep, rich and beautifully warm sound, and on playback at a very loud volume there are no major audio issues of note. Both sides deliver exceptionally clean playback with practically silent run-ins and track divisions. Just the quiet middle section of "Echoes" displays a couple of light 'ticks' (but these are really hardly worth a mention) and the mark mentioned above (parallel to the grooves) sounds briefly for just one revolution as it is passed over. But these are the only (very minor) audible flaws to this otherwise pristine copy and as any of my regular buyers will know I am always extremely critical and brutally honest in my assessments. Graded a beautiful MINT(-) (Side One) and a very strong EXCELLENT+++ (Side two) for audio, this is an absolutely wonderful copy
SLEEVE: The original textured gatefold has some touches of storage wear to the top and bottom edges and spine (very light) - all spine text is clear and bold. The outer textured surfaces are clean and unrubbed and the inner textured surfaces are practically like new. A very well preserved and very fine example - EXCELLENT (+)
The Harvest inner sleeve is also in great condition with no splits, just some age-related discolouration to the edges - EXCELLENT (+)
