PINK FLOYD Meddle (Harvest SHVL 795) RARE UK 1st Pressing A1/B1 Textured MINT-
RARE first UK pressing of Pink Floyd`s "Meddle", released on Harvest Records (October 1971). 
"Not bad. "Echoes" moves through 23:21 of "Across the Universe" cop with the timeless calm of interstellar overdrive, and the acoustic-type folk songs boast their very own melodies (as well as a real dog, rather than electronic seagulls, for sound effect). The word "behold" should never cross their filters again, but this is definitely an improvement: one eensy-weensy step for humanity, one giant leap for Pink Floyd. Grading: B-" - Robert Christgau, 1981.
GRADING:
EX+ COVER. UK 1st pressing gatefold sleeve with light wear. Please see photos for details.
- Fully textured sleeve, inside and out, as found on true first pressings only.
- Minimal mis-alignment of front and back sleeves (c. 2-3 mm), with slight rear sleeve protrusion.
- Small corner scuff (at bottom left) with tiny paper tear. Please see detail photo.
- Two slightly bumped corners on rear sleeve (at left, top and bottom).

EX++ RECORD, carefully played a few times. Near-perfect audio reproduction throughout. 
- The record has a few superficial hairlines from sleeve removal only.
- A bit of sporadic background crackle in the run-in and between (some) tracks.
- Original UK first-pressing Harvest Records labels with one EMI box, as well as "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." and "Made in Gt. Britain" lettering.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "SHVL 795 A-1 U" and "SHVL 795 B-1 U", indicating a very first UK pressing.
- Mothers/Stampers: "2 / P" on Side One and "1 / A O" on Side Two.
- This record is fully certified to be an original UK first pressing of "Meddle", released in October 1971.

PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay UK, this item is in honestly-graded EX+ to MINT- condition. You will NOT find another original first pressing of "Meddle" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price: "True value for money" is the motto here!
