Description
Over the next few weeks and months I will be listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums.
These will all be at least decent playing copies, but mostly will be of excellent quality, some even better than that. They will include some UK 1st pressings, and if not they will be extremely early pressings. All matrix/mother/stamper combinations will be listed (so long as they are readable!) so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on. All gradings are by visual examination and by play-grading, strictly to record collector guidelines.
So here we have Pink Floyds venture into film soundtracks for the film "MORE" from 1969.
This is the early 1G / 1G matrix pressing. Mothers and stampers on this are extremely early examples. 1 RM and 1 RP.
This has been fully and strictly play-graded, and all parts inspected and reported in detail. Please digest the full information below.
The cover. So prone to dirt and laminate creasing, this is a really nice example. Has the green tinted rear with the couple facing West (left). Hardly any creasing to the front laminate. A mild disc impression is forming. The rear is very clean. Grades as VG+.
Inner sleeve. In a pretty exceptional condition. This is the company inner advertising other releases around the same time. No damage of note. Grades as Ex.
The vinyl surfaces visually are in superb condition, without any marks of note. This lovely vinyl visually grades as excellent. The vinyl is a very reassuringly weighty affair!
The sound quality has been fully play-graded, strictly to record collector guidelines. This is an soundtrack album with many many quiet sections that are a nightmare for older vinyl. This copy is quite outstanding. Side one starts with 5 seconds of light surface noise which quickly disappears. The side plays superbly with just a single dust pop on track 4. Side two plays without any issues worthy of noting. A pleasure to listen to from start to finish and easily receives my highest grade for a used album of Ex+.
Whoever wins this will be extremely happy I am certain.
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send next day delivery postage with The Royal Mail. I only charge exactly what it costs me, sometimes less!
I accept returns if I am notified as soon as possible after you receive the album. This has to be due to it being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the album, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas, but not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Postage within the EU is around £17. Worldwide postage is around £26. If these prices differ once I have packed and weighed them, I will refund the difference immediately.
