PINK FLOYD 'OBSCURED BY CLOUDS'  A UK 1ST PRESS STEREO VINYL LP , HARVEST RECORDS June 1972. The film soundtrack to the film ''La Vallee'' ~ and still one of my personal favourite Floyd albums !  Catalogue No. SHSP 4020 . THIS IS ONE OF THE , IF NOT THE , EARLIEST SCARCEST PRESSES IN EXISTENCE . THE MATRICES BEING : SHSP 4020 A-1 with what looks like a 'UP' stamp to 3 o clock and '2' stamper to 9 o clock.     SHSP 4020 B-1 with RR stamped to 10 o clock and '2' stamper to 4 o clock . ''Gramophone Co Ltd'' to top of labels with a near perfect Garrod & Lofthouse round-cornered , textured sleeve .  The inside of the sleeve is white , later issues were of darker card . It retains its original Harvest poly-lined inner with no splits. The text to the spine was never white ; it appears cream to gold in colour .

VINYL (approx. 150 grams ~ later editions were flimsier ) is in excellent plus condition and has clearly only been played a few times ever . This record would not have been played in over 40 years until my testing it - I know the source . It's absolutely outstanding !

Textured sleeve : excellent , please view all the pics - there's just a tiny dig to the spine with some very mild surrounds wear . It's a pretty majestic sleeve however and has been stored carefully .

Labels excellent .
