Description

Up for auction is a very nice, original copy of the Pink Floyd album "Obscured By Clouds" originally released in the U.K. on Harvest Records (SHSP 4020) in 1972.

-Guaranteed original U.K. pressing
-Early A4/B4 run-out stampers
-Original matte textured die-cut cover
-Garrod & Lofthouse cover
-Original EMI U.K. 578 paper inner sleeve
-No UPC/bar code on cover

Condition:
Cover is in great shape, with only faint signs of wear.  No ring wear front or back.  No seam splits, just a hint of rubbing to corners and edges here and there.  Very well-preserved original.  Grade: Excellent (EX).

Vinyl looks very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  No significant scratches or scuffs, just a couple faint, superficial hairlines, probably from taking the vinyl out of paper inner sleeve a couple times.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.

Play-Tested:
I have spot checked this record, and the sound quality is excellent, no significant pressing noise, generally nice in quiet passages.  Not audiophile perfect, but none of these originals are.  Still a very nicely preserved original pressing.  Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies.
