This is for: PINK FLOYD, "OMAYYAD" ON TMOQ 71040, ultra rare issue from - again -the second batch of early TMOQ, with sideway pig labels and golden round sticker, earlier pressings being with big 1/2 labels. Nevertheless, this has early PF 515 matrix #. This copy is pressed on beautiful DEEP BLUE vinyl. At this point I could surrend to lazyness and stop description, as anyone into this stuff must know this one, but the collector's pride prevails... This is not a simple underground record, this IS THE ONE! The album in itself wouln't be that rare, but all serious Floyd's and TMOQ collectors usually want to have any different copy and variant of this one, and is not unusual to hear somebody amongst collectors who got 7, 8 and even 12!!! Music here is a compilation of live performance from Chicago 1971, with a brilliant rendition of Astronomy Domine, plus a handful of studio outtakes from the Zabriskie point movie soundtrack. The album is in perfect shape and features its original loose insert. Wonderful and rare, what ask for more? Don't miss it!
