Description
I have been an obsessive collector of vinyl LP's and singles for many years, and from the very first I have always been very careful about the condition of the records I have bought. Once in my posession the records have been well stored and always very carefully handled. If the records have been played at all, it has always been on a good quality hi - fi system, the deck being a Linn LP12 with a top of the range arm and cartridge.
As a result, most of the many thousands of items in my collection are in very good, excellent or better condition.
Now, in order to create more space at home, I have decided to cut the collection back to a core of my personal favourite artistes, and to dispose of the remainder, and my many duplicates. These I intend to list for auction over the coming months.
For auction here is something a bit odd, which I obtained when I bought a private collection several years ago. It is an Italian picture disc from Pink Floyd called rather bizzarely 'One of these day' note not 'days'. It has a card insert (see picture) with track listings - this also bears a strange smudged stamp, which is obviously intended, this carries the number LV105, and this copy is individually numbered No. 1409. The rear of the LP which has a picture of the group line up also carries the track listing and attributes the pressing to 'Cosmic Communications'. The LP and the card are enlosed in the usual clear plastic sleeve.
Tracks are Side 1: Julia dream, Let there be more light, Murderistic women, Careful with that axe Eugene, Point me a the sky (not 'at'), Side 2: Green is the colour, Embryo, If, One of these days.
The LP is in mint condition, there are no visible signs of it ever being played.
