From my own collection - I will be selling more rare vinyl next year ..
This first Pink Floyd long player from 1967 is a first pressing with 1/1 stampers and without 'File Under Pop' on the E.J.Day sleeve, it plays to a high standard, important with an album in this league - with ever more copies of this album coming up for sale it's difficult to wade through all the waffle and know if it's really going to sound OK - this won't disappoint -
theres no jumps skips bad surface noise or hiss - odd crackle here and there not much - no horrors that you may find with some that come up for sale, would be difficult to get a better sound than this - it's also pleasing to look at - vinyl retains all it's original black high gloss lustre has some light surface marks/wispy hairlines only really seen under a harsh light - clean bright Columbia Blue/Black labels - sleeve has sparkling clean lamination on the front with a straight spine and a clean back panel theres a small corner crease bottom front left corner/light rub mark bruise to corner - no tears or seam splits it's a very presentable smart looking cover as you can see in the pictures, complete with a well preserved crisp sepia EMI period '67 inner ..
This Syd Barrett inspired masterpiece is an alround excellent example and judging by how I have enjoyed it I'm sure will please it's new owner ,
