This album has not been played for over 25 years. Only last week I decided to play it again and it played very nicely despite quite a few hairlines. I suppose it could be professionally cleaned and result in better audio than the present. There is some background noise esp. in quieter moments. The record did not skip or jump and I thoroughly enjoyed Astronomy Domine and Interstellar Overdrive ... ahhh the good old days. Unbelievably this is now 44 years old and counting ....

 

 

 

 

 

This is the very first Stereo version. The first sleeve as well as I understand because it has no "file under popular" printed to the back. The sleeve has the old style flipbacks. Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. the front is laminated. There are some creases esp. near the opening. There are no splits. there is also no writing or smudging. Have a look at the pictures. The spine is fully legible.This has the original inner Columbia inner sleeve with adverts for LPs of the day, such as Simon Dupree and Tyrannosaurus Rex which I also own. Not mint so please don't bid if that's what you're after.

 

 

 

 

 

Visually the disc has quite a few hairlines as said. The labels are nice without any writing as is the sleeve. Embossed on the label is the KT tax code. I have a few more LP's of the day coming up for sale soon so watch this place.
