Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition.  I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

ALBUM INFO:

This was the 30TH ANNIVERSARY re-mastered re-issue of the studio album THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN on EMI Records released in 1997 re-mixed by James Guthrie, I always preferred the original MOMO version, his wonderful ear has done an AMAZING job, of re-mastering this extremely RARE issue of  PINK FLOYD'S Studio Album....THE PIPER OF THE GATES OF DAWN...... This is now so hard to find, as it only reach #44 in the uk charts, and that would include the CD sales at that time, most vinyl was only purchased hard core vinyl junkies, like myself. You would be hard pushed to see a better vinyl record, just a couple of plays. With A-1-1-1 / B-1-1-1  Matrix Numbers . In 1997 most people owned CD players hence the RARITY of this CLASSIC PINK FLOYD MONO VERSION ALBUM. This is the UK 1st PRESS AND ONLY PRESS of this version... So hard to find in any playable condition, as they have been squirreled away in collections or worse thrown away. I believe that there are very few better rock albums, you would be hard pushed to find better.   

The emi gatefold sleeve is unlaminated front and back without any Major creasing, NO WRITING OR MARKS. Please take a L@@K at the photographs An opportunity to own a Mega Rare true rock classic.

VINYL AUDIO: 

Excellent + (Nr MINT) Great LOUD playback No distortion, No Jumps, Bright Clear Sound.  One OR Two plays only..  

VINYL VISUAL: 

Excellent + : - . The vinyl is bright and has a shine. Under strong light Great, just a few light inner sleeve removal. 

SLEEVE:

Excellent + .  Look at the photo's.....Rare to find in this condition as this type of cover is prone to ring rub and storage wear, wonderfully clean unlaminated cover, remarkable consider it's age,  has no splits or tears. please look at the photos the cover is unlaminated inside and out. A slight rub on the bottom of the spine, again nothing to bad but I have taken pic's were they are.  (Back) somehow it has survived without picking up any staining or writing, as a lot of albums have owners names in biro on them, rare in this condition! This Sleeve is in Excellent+ condition.

INNER SLEEVE:

Nr Mint. Original CARD type ...NO SPLITS OR DAMAGE! being the very fragile inner sleeve is a great indicator of the amount of usage the album has had. I would say the inner is the best you could find! and considering how fragile these are.....they are 20 years old, quite unbelievable intact condition.  

LABELS:

Clean, no marks, no damage.   

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be payed for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an Ebay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.

RETURNS POLICY: 

I aim to provide an excellent service and hope that all buyers are satisfied with their purchase. However, if for any reason this should not be so, please contact me. I do accept returns, and on receipt of the item I will give a full refund - however - I will not refund what it costs the buyer to send it back, as otherwise I am just paying for the customer to look at it. I will not issue a refund if detail that is clearly stated on the advertisement has been missed by the buyer, so please read carefully.

PACKAGING: 

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
