Description
THE PINK FLOYD
THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN
uk Columbia Stereo SCX 6157 (-1 endings + 1T & 1T mother/stampers). Here is rare early second uk pressing of one of the best psychedelic rock albums ever recorded. This early copy has just the one EMI boxed logo on the labels and comes in the earliest 'E J. Day' front laminated flip-back cover with the grey back. The thick stereo vinyl has a really nice original sheen, there are no nasty deep surface marks or scratches, there are just a few light signs of careful play, all tracks play and sound top excellent throughout with barely any surface noise at all, the stereo sound quality is still excellent and clean and clear throughout with no distortion. The columbia labels are nice and clean with just a few small signs of wear. The early 'Ernest J. Day' front laminated flip-back cover is in very good condition, the front lamination is still nice and glossy, there are only a couple of small minor lamination shifts/creases, the grey matt back has some minor age discolouration, there is also a small amount of red felt pen and biro near the spine (please see pic), the flip-backs have two small areas of sticker damage along the bottom. The covers top edge has a small seem split right at it's centre, the bottom edge is excellent with no wear, and the spine is in great shape with all text bold and clear and easy to read. The white paper inner sleeve is in very good condition with some light ageing but there are no splits. All pictures provided are of the actual album for sale. Please check out my other items!

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID
I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
