Description

This is an auction for a rare single by Pink Floyd, Point Me At The Sky, Careful With That Axe Eugene.

This was released by Columbia records in 1968 and has catalogue number DB8511. Please check the pictures for clarification.

Condition: This comes with its original company sleeve.

Label one has a couple of scuff marks at  10 &11 o'clock, under closer examination not to many spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole shows a touch of wear.

The vinyl on both sides retains its new shine, when held under a strong light a few tiny hairline scratches and one visible very light scuff mark can be seen.  I have played this through both sides. Side one has a quiet entry and goes on to play with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. The music itself plays strong with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever. There is no reduction in quality through wear as this side has certainly not been overplayed. Other than perhaps the very occasional, very quiet crackle this side plays fine.

Side two has the same quiet entry,  Like side one the music itself plays strong with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever. The above mentioned scratches and scuff mark are completely non-audible. Other than the very occasional very quiet crackle (probably dust) both sides play superbly well.

The vinyl for this is graded at a strict VG+ despite sounding near mint, down-graded as I usually do for the surface marks and because its been played slightly more than a few times.
