Description

This listing features a vintage STEREO PRESSING of Pink Floyd Piper at the Gates of Dawn released in the late 1960's. The gorgeous example offered here is still in the FACTORY SHRINK WRAP! This is the very highly coveted "Striped Psychedelic" label variation with alternate strips of blue, green, purple and orange. Very popular with serious collectors.


The song titles for Pow R. Toc H., and Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk are misspelled on the back cover.

CONDITION: The beautiful album cover is in solid NM+ condition and is STILL in the factory shrink! Clearly, the original shrink has protected this gorgeous cover for the last 50+ years! The necessary breathe holes are also present on this one! The factory shrink is nice and tight with no tears and/or significant separation.


The stereo vinyl and the psychedelic Tower Records striped labels are in NEAR MINT (or better) condition! Frankly, it's hard to believe this album is over 50 years old! Definitely an INVESTMENT GRADE album which would immediately become one of the centerpieces of any serious collection! The photos don't do this one justice!
