On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS PINK FLOYD'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1967 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE STEREO!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED BACK IN 1967, NEARLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON MONO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE STEREO AT ALL!!!! DEMAND FOR STEREOs WAS SO TINY, THAT MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK STEREOs AS STANDARD IN 1967 - AND STEREO 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!!!! AS A RESULT, FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN MEGA RARE STEREO IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE - AS BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE!!!!
IT IS ALSO WORTH NOTING THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE 'INVENTED' A 2ND PRESSING FOR THIS LP (DUE TO THE TINIEST POSSIBLE COVER DETAIL - EVEN THOUGH THE WORD 'PRESSING' CLEARLY RELATES TO THE VINYL, AND NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COVER AT ALL!!!! HOWEVER, IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THE WORLD'S LEADING AUTHORITY ON PINK FLOYD LPs (THE PINK FLOYD ARCHIVES) YOU WILL SEE INDEED, THAT THIS LP IS 100% CORRECTLY MARKED AS VERY MUCH A 1ST PRESSING - AND ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS AT THAT!!!! AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY - THIS RECORD HAS INCREDIBLY EARLY 1/O 1/O MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, CLEARLY SHOWING IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST 1500 COPIES EVER MADE - AND IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!
THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL, AS IT HAS THE ULTRA RARE 'LARGE' STEREO TEXT ON BOTH LABELS - WHICH ALMOST NO COPIES HAD (MOST HAD THE VERY COMMON 'SMALL TEXT' INSTEAD!)!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK STEREO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 1ST PRESS 1/1 STEREO MATRIX ENDINGS, AMAZINGLY EARLY 1/O 1O MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, 1ST PRESS BLACK EMI ADVERTISING 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (WITH 'FILE UNDER POP' ON THE REVERSE)!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SCX 6157 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Black EMI Advertising 'Patents Applied For' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Flipback Laminated STEREO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, NO rubbing,VERY nice flipbacks, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

FOR EVERYONE INTERESTED IN THIS ITEM - THIS MESSAGE IS BEING POSTED ON EBAY FOR ALL INFORMATION TO BE MADE 100% CLEAR:-
1) Some covers have 'File Under Popular' and some do not.
2) Some people believe 'File Under Popular' existed AFTER the covers WITHOUT 'File Under Popular'. However, last time I checked covers are PRINTED and not PRESSED - therefore ALL Blue/Black labelled records are 1ST PRESSINGS and are EXACTLY THE SAME.
3) If you want the Earliest possible cover variation WITHOUT 'File Under Popular' - then this isnt it. Note this is simply a minor cover VARIATION and definitely NOT a pressing!
4) However, if you indeed refer to the WORLDS AUTHORITY on Pink Floyd LPs - namely the PINK FLOYD ARCHIVES and prefer to note their EXTREMELY ACCURATE information (including all mother & stamper codings) - you will indeed find this is DEFINITELY a 1st Issue and NOT 2nd one!
