FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS I'LL BE LISTING LPs FROM A SMALL BUT HIGH QUALITY COLLECTION OF LATE 1960s AND VERY EARLY 1970s LPs I RECENTLY PURCHASED.
This is an ORIGINAL 1967 U.S. TOWER RECORDS STEREO PRESSING (NOT A RECENT REISSUE) OF THE 1967 LP titled 'Piper At The Gates Of Dawn' from Pink Floyd. It is Tower Records U.S. catalog number ST 5093.

It is extremely frustrating and annoying when a record that would otherwise grade NM has one small flaw which downgrades the condition of the record by three grades, but that is unfortunately the situation here - Condition of record is VG with just one scratch on the track 'The Scarecrow' which can be felt and which will cause rather prominent ticks through most of that track; without this one scratch the rest of this record would grade a SOLID NM with no other scratches or surface marks of any kind anyplace else on the record. Condition of cover is VG+ with a 2" split in the middle of the bottom edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired this split by taping from the inside). Cover also has the 1/2" beginning of a split in the bottom edge at the lower right corner, a light stain from exposure to moisture along the bottom of the back cover, some wear along the edges and on the corners, and some ring and contact wear. Cover has no tears, writing, or stickers. I have priced this record modestly according to its collectability and its very frustrating condition, I will leave it to the bidders to determine its ultimate value - This LP would be a nice addition to your Pink Floyd or psychedelic rock record collection!
