Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Pink Floyd - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. Issued in the UK by Columbia in 1967, in this instance it’s a second pressing with the catalogue number SCX 6157.
Identifiers - The second pressing is surprisingly rare and also very collectible. The record has the requisite marks and identifiers, namely …
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Stamped - YAX 3419-1
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Stamped - YAX 3420-1
Central Columbia label is black and blue, with "File under POPULAR : Pop Groups" in small print in the top right corner of the reverse side of the outer cover. Comes in a triple-edge flipback with a grey rear panel and printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London, displayed.
Vinyl Condition - Excellent - The record is very bright and clean and although a few light surface marks will be found, there are no worrying scratches. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that there is no jumping, sticking and barely a click. Background crackle/noise is occasional but very low level if heard.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Excellent - Original front laminated outer cover with minor signs of wear and a small stress crease near the top front edge. The back panel bears a former owner’s name. Inner sleeve is comparable and EMI industry/advertising as issued.

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
I will accept returns on any item which is not as described and refund all costs upon safe receipt.
See "Me" for further general despatch information.
