Description
Here's an unusually well kept early UK pressing of Piper at the Gates of Dawn (Columbia – SCX 6157). The is the 1969 repress, black label with silver text. The LP itself is in excellent condition with a few extremely light surface marks visible under bright light that do not affect play. The jacket is VG+ with normal shelf wear for this kind of laminated sleeve (no tears, writing or other damage) and some light yellowing on the back. See pics above. I do not have the original EMI inner ad sleeve, although the enterprising collector could easily plunder one from a copy of Shadows or Ken Dodd LP, or something like that. Stamped matrix reads as follows:
