PINK FLOYD - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn - VERY RARE Original 1967 MONO Vinyl LP with Ernest J. Day flipback laminate sleeve and blue/black labels with "SOLD IN UK" text.

Excellent / Very Good PLUS Condition. A lovely looking copy!

SLEEVE:     

EX (Slight wear only. Great corners, edges and spine with only the corners showing even the slightest wear! Spine and edges are mint! The flipbacks are perfect. The sheen to the laminate front is lovely and there are only a few small creases in the laminate. The back cover has just a couple of small dots of staining but overall very little wear. Close to EX+ really)

INNER:                     

Original EMI company inner sleeve

VG+ (Test plays as excellent, with really nice audio quality, and virtually no noticeable crackle. In-between tracks is quiet and so are the more delicate passages. Unfortunately there is a small scratch on "GNOME" which causes a few light clicks. For this reason I give an overall grade of VG+ as it would be a definite EX. Visually close to excellent with slight wear only. Just a few light scratches viewed under bright light)

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
