PINK FLOYD - PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN - SECOND PRESS YAX 3419-1/3420- MATRIX 1GH/1GP STAMPERS Year:1970 Cat: SCX 6157
- On offer here is a copy of one of the most sought after psychedelic records issued.
- The triple flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is an early issue with "File Under Popular" text at top right and both mono/stereo catalogue numbers at bottom right. The laminated front has retained its gloss and is very flat with only one minor thumb crease and slight ringwear visible under strong light. cardboard sleeve The pleated spine is rigid and fully intact and quite legible with no wear. The rear is clean with no writing. Slight grubbiness to the laminate edging with a small repair at top right where the flap had lifted, otherwise top and bottom edges are unworn with no rubbing. Sleeve opening has only slight feathering. Graded at least VG++
- The correct EMI inner advertising the Beatles Let it Be box set is pristine with no browning or creases, just the LP title neatly written in small print on the reverse. Graded EX+
- The thick vinyl still has a factory fresh appearance and must be one of the best copies available with no marks or spindle trails visible under strong light! Visually graded Near Mint.. When played the sound quality is astounding with no noise at all in any quiet passages or between tracks. This record has probably only been played a few times including my playgrade! Playgraded Near Mint. Never upgrade again!

My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
