THIS RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED AND ENJOYED OVER THE YEARS BUT NOT ABUSED. THE AMOUNT OF PLAY MEANS THAT THE AUDIO IS NOT CRYSTAL CLEAR AUDIOPHILE PLAYBACK BUT STILL VERY PLEASANT TO LISTEN TO. LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE ONLY AT THE MOST QUIET PASSAGES OF MUSIC BUT CERTAINLY NOT INTRUSIVE ON THE EXPERIENCE. IT DOES HAVE SOME SURFACE SCRATCHES WHICH NOW THE RECORD IS PERFECTLY CLEAN, DOES NOT SOUND WHEN PLAYED. NO DEEP NASTY SCRATCHES.
I CLEANED THE RECORD TWICE ON MY PRO-JECT VACUME CLEANER AND THEN LISTENED TO THE WHOLE ALBUM CAREFULLY ON MY TURNTABLE. I JUST HEARD 3 LOW LEVEL TICKS AT THE END OF THE TRACK SCARECROW. I HAVE PLAY GRADED THE RECORD VG AS OF THE COLLECTORS GUIDE.
