PINK FLOYD. A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS.
1st PRESS BLUE & BLACK COLUMBIA 1968.
VERY RARE UK MONO LP SX 6258
MATRIX No XAX 3633-1 3634-1 (First Pressing).
Record and sleeve both incorrectly spells "GILMORE".
The record is bright and has been well played before I brought it 2nd hand some 40 years ago and has a few hair line surface marks but I have just played it prior to listing and it sounds and plays well and it does not jump or sound any scratches. There is only some background crackle between the tracks and in the quiet parts of the record and it would benefit greatly from a good professional clean being 47 years old.
The sleeve is good and bright with no writing or stains except 3 letters in black on the rear cover next to SX 6258 (see photos) and does have some wear to the edges and some creasing to the laminate face (see photos). There is a small 1/2inch tear intact at the opening (see photo)
Inner sleeve is plain white with some age browning (patina) and creasing around the edges.
My local record dealer has graded the record and sleeve as VG.
