PINK FLOYD – SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS • Columbia Early UK Blue/Black label • SX 6258
1968 UK Columbia mono recording on blue/black label, catalogue number SX 6258, with “Sold in UK” text. Saucerful of Secrets is Pink Floyd’s second album and one of their most sought after LPs. Matrix Nos. are XAX 3633-1 (H at 3 o’clock) and XAX 3634-1 (O at 3 o’clock).
Disc is clean and shiny with occasional very light marks – nothing serious. Sound quality is great with no background noise. Side 1 has 6/7 random very faint ticks. Side 2 has 9/10 light ticks at start of Track 1. We couldn’t hear any other defects! Original sepia inner on which owner has written timings of tracks. Sleeve is very good, intact with some scuffs and creases. “File under POPULAR” on rear sleeve.
