PINK FLOYD-THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

A VERY RARE AND ORIGINAL UK LP.THIS IS THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LP WITH THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE AND THE MATRIX OF A-2 AND B-2 .ULTRA RARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should point out immediatley there is a jump on side 1.There are 4 or 5 jumps during Money and a further one during Us and Them,later on on side 2.  

Sleeve-Iconic Gatefold Made by Garrod and Lofthouse.Heavy duty card.Shows corner,edge and opening wear.Some ringwear and odd mark but overall, a respectable and clean sleeve. Stickered to the front. 

Inner-The original Black polylined  inner is clean and strong.  

 

Labels-Clean showing minor spindle marks.Made in Gt.Britain.

 

Vinyl-Thick heavy first press vinyl.Still has a deep gloss to both sides and looks very nice.Under light you can see odd hairlines,surface scratches and marks.

 

Inserts-No postcards but the two posters are included.They are folded and I suspect have never been displayed.

 

Playback-Jumps as stated.Crackle and ticks at start of Side 1.Apart from the aforementioned,the majority of the playback is very clear and enjoyable. 

 

There it is-far from perfect but a gem non the less.Many people buy to have it framed,others just to hear what a very first press sounds like.Whatever your taste,low start and no reserve.
